Auto Close, controls how SQL Server caches data from the database. When it’s enabled, SQL Server removes data pages from the buffer pool and execution plans from the plan cache when the database
does not have any active connections. This will lead to performance impact with the new workload when data needs to be cached and queries need to be compiled again.
